Parabhjot Kaur, a Punjabi poet - Died on 24th Nov 2016
She got Sahitya Akademi Award for her poetry book Pabbi in 1964. Parabhjot was nominated for Punjab Vidhan Parishad in 1966. She received Padma Shri in 1967.
Her first anthology of poems came out in 1943. Her another anthology of poems called Plateau got published in Paris. She got 24 anthologies of poems and 4 collections of short stories published.
